I have the pleasure of being the last author on SCP's Blog Hop and I wanted to do something special. As a member of the SCP family, I've had the privilege to work with not only the amazing staff at SCP but to be amongst the remarkably talented writer's who call SCP home.

Whether you are a romance author or a romance reader, have you ever wished to be the heroine (or hero) of your very own story?

If so, now is your chance! By leaving a comment, you will have a chance to win your very own CUSTOM short story (approx. 2500 words) starring none other than YOU!

This story will be yours and yours alone and after answering a few questions (the answers of which will be kept quite confidential), decide on the heat level and genre, I will craft a personalized romance just for you.

To qualify for SCP's Blog Hop prizes, you simply need to leave a comment with your e-mail address.

In order to qualify for a chance to win my contest, you need to answer the following question:

If you could 'star' in your own romance, what would your ideal heroine (or hero) be? A detective? A vampire or ghost hunter? The owner of a specialty shop? A small town girl or a big city professional? The possibilities are limitless and I've often fantasized about a few myself, so I'm quite interested in your fantasy character! PLEASE BE SURE TO LEAVE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS at the end of your comment!

Best of luck to all those who've visited each blog on SCP's Anniversary Blog Hop! And to Secret Cravings Publishing ... a very HAPPY ANNIVERSARY with best wishes for years to come!

Layla

  1. Happy anniversary to SCP. I have had fun finding new authors during this last month. I have often daydreamed or imagined myself as the heroine in some of the romance books I have read. I think probably most people do.

  2. Lots of great authors joining the Hop, found some new ones and some I knew about and added a book or two, or three...to my TBR list ;) I have often thought of a story of my own, I tend to like the paranormal genre, especially the wolf stories, give me a hot alpha wolf and I would be in heaven!

  3. Happy Anniversary to SCP!
I enjoy reading romance because I love HEA's. One also gets to relive the exciting beginning of new relationship and the delicious sexual attraction. If you identify with a heroine, the story is even better. I love to read historical romance. I think I would enjoy a story about a modern woman going back in time and finding a alpha hero who is madly attracted to her.

  4. Happy Anniversary SCP!!

What an awesome prize for the last stop of this hop. My story preference would definately be a small town girl being swept off her feet by a hot alpha wolf or 2. Yumm!

  5. Hi Layla, thank you for helping SCP celebrate their anniversary. I had a great time visiting all the blogs and discovering many new authors. The month sort of flew by.

My ideal hero has a wicked sense of humor and is a little mysterious but has a big heart. He's a bit of an alpha but I don't mind. I'm more of a small town girl and that is where the hero resides.

  6. Hello ladies! I'm at work but I wanted to stop by and say hello and check out your comments so far! Thank you all for visiting and I'm looking forward to picking a winner! This is the first time I've written a 'custom' story but I am excited by the challenge and hope to fulfill the winner's expectations.

  7. Wow, what a great prize Layla! How fun would that be to be the heroine of my very own story! I've, weirdly, never thought of being the heroine in a book.........oh, WAIT yes...yes I have...Eve in J.D. Robb's(Nora Roberts) In Death series.

    *sigh* Roarke *bazillion sighs*

Where was I??? Oh.........being a heroine.....if I can't be Eve(;)) then giving it some thought, since the Love of My Life is a workaholic, I'd go for a contemporary, he's at work, sees me...and, well....you're the writer....you'd have to fill in the rest. :) This is why I read and leave the writing up to the professionals! LOL

Happy Anniversary Secret Cravings Publishing!! Sorry to see the hop coming to an end! :(

  8. My character would be a special agent who tracks down rogue vampires and wolves. She's very no nonsense and takes no crap from anyone and yet she still feels something is missing until she meets HIM. An wolf on the run, accused of a crime he didn't commit. Will she help him or turn him in, even if he sets every nerve ending on fire.

  10. Oh, wow...so many ideas are rushing through my head. How about a well built, sexy, HAWT special ops hero!

Sounds like a great idea. Thanks for a great end of a fun blog hop!

    Happy anniversary, SCP!

  11. Hi Layla,

I tried all day yesterday to comment but the fricken DSL was so messed up couldn't get on to check email or comment. But my ideal hero would be Alpha, sexy, broody, snarky, loving and very good in bed. He would be no nonsense and all business with everyone else, but he would be such a marshmellow to his woman or his guy.

    Happy Anniversary Secret Cravings!
